On the agenda are several visits of projects developed with support from Luxembourg in the capital Vientiane and in the cities of Phonhong, Vang Vieng, and Luang Prabang, as well as meetings with President Thongloun Sisoulith and Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh.
Delegation officials are also scheduled to sign two bilateral protocols with their hosts and two further trilateral protocols with Switzerland. A statement emphasises that these accords are an important step for the fifth ‘Indicative Cooperation Programme’, which will run from 2023 to 2027.
