On Thursday morning, ministers François Bausch, Claude Meisch and Franz Fayot held a presentation on the successful projects.
13 projects were approved in total. Eight projects fall into the domain of space, while the other five cover materials. All in all, the government will invest 9.5 million euros in the selected projects.
A second such appeal will be issued in 2024 for further research projects like smart mobility and climate change adaptation, as the government aims to invest 2% of the defence budget in the research and development field.
