
The regulation pertaining to excise duties on oil was also amended. The measures are part of the ‘Solidaritéitspak’ (solidarity package), and cover both diesel and petrol.
The measure will remain in force until the end of July, and for heating oil until the end of the year.
On 13 April, petrol stations across the country will immediately switch to the new prices.
The Chamber of Deputies still has to approve the measure for diesel that is used for commercial or industrial purposes, as well as heating oil.
