As part of the cross-border operation, the criminal investigation department of Luxembourg’s judicial police (SPJ), working closely with French authorities, secured the extradition of two individuals arrested in France last week.
The suspects were handed over to Luxembourg police under the framework of intensified bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Both individuals are believed to have played an active role in a criminal organisation.
Authorities said the case underscores the effectiveness of cross-border law enforcement efforts in ensuring that suspects can be brought to justice beyond national boundaries.
