Police reported several incidents of drink driving on Friday night.

At around 8.10pm, a traffic accident resulting in material damage was reported on Route d'Esch in Huncherange. Both drivers involved were unharmed. However, one of them tested positive for alcohol, and their driving licence was suspended.

In the early hours of 23 May, at approximately 2.15am, police officers in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City noticed a driver behaving dangerously on Rue du Fort Wedell. The motorist was asked to take a breathalyser test, which came back positive. Their driving licence was consequently suspended.

At around 3.30am, a vehicle was reported for erratic driving on the A4 motorway near the Foetz exit, heading towards Luxembourg City. A police patrol located the driver shortly afterwards. The motorist was immediately given a breathalyser test, which proved positive, and their driving licence was suspended.

In Mamer, a driver was reported for speeding at approximately 4.20am. A police patrol intercepted and checked the driver shortly thereafter. As the motorist's breathalyser test was positive, their driving licence was suspended.
