The police announced they were seeking four men who had been in a Fiat Idea on Twitter. The car was involved in a crash in the Foxenhiel neighbourhood in Dudelange and the men on board the car fled the scene afterwards.
According to the police, the car was registered in France and the men were all of Romanian nationality. One of the men was bearded.
In the aftermath of the accident, the police appealed to the public to not offer a lift to any strangers in the area and to contact 113 if they believe they've spotted any of the individuals.
