Just before midday, one person sustained injuries in a crash on Route d'Arlon in Mamer. The Bertrange and Mamer fire brigades were at the scene alongside a Mamer ambulance.
A second crash occurred on Rue Albert Einstein in Gasperich. One person was injured and attended to by the capital's firefighters and ambulance.
At 12.57 pm, another traffic accident took place on Rue Bender, leaving one injured. The city's firefighters and a Mamber ambulance were dispatched to the scene. Another person sustained injuries in a crash on the A13 towards Petange.
Finally, the police reported an accident on Rue Mathias Koener in Esch-sur-Alzette. A motorist lost control of his vehicle and crashed into four parked cars. Paramedics took the driver to hospital for a check-up, where it transpired he was under the influence of alcohol. The man was fined, but kept his licence.
