According to reports, the fire broke out in woodland not far from “Millewee”. Fortunately, no one was injured as a result. The report did not specify the extent of the damage caused by the forest fire.
In Wahlhausen, a second fire broke out in the middle of the night, in a field near the “am Duerf” road. Fire crews from Hosingen, Keispelt and Putscheid were called out to the scene, where they extinguished the flames. No injuries were reported.
