As reported earlier on Monday morning, a fire broke out at a school in Heffingen on Sunday afternoon.
In order to determine the fire's circumstances, the public prosecutor deployed both fire and police forces so as to identify any potential traces left behind.
Recent developments have revealed that the incident might not have been accidental. According to a resident's witness statement, some individuals of a young age were spotted near the grounds on Sunday.
They have since been identified and stand as the principal suspects.
