The Luxembourg Basketball Federation has taken disciplinary action against individuals involved in a violent incident during an under-14 basketball game in January.

In January, a basketball game between two under-14 teams in Luxembourg escalated into a violent altercation. The Luxembourg Basketball Federation (FLBB) has since issued disciplinary measures following an investigation into the incident.

The FLBB court has imposed a ten-match ban on the coach of the Walferdange team. Additionally, a player from the Soleuvre team, who allegedly kicked the Walferdange coach in the back during the altercation, has been suspended for eight matches.

The father of the Soleuvre player, who does not hold an FLBB licence but was serving as an official for the team, has been banned for five years. He is accused of punching the Walferdange coach in the face during the incident.
