Five accidents overnight left five people hurt, with one person sustaining serious injuries in a collision near Imbringen.

The CR119 between Imbringen and Altlinster remains closed to traffic until further notice as of Thursday morning, following a serious crash at around 3.45am.

The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps reported a single vehicle was involved in the incident, which left one person with serious injuries. First responders from Luxembourg City were accompanied by emergency teams from Lintgen at the scene. Police recommended that motorists avoid the area.

Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, two cars collided on the CR103A between Olm and Nospelt. One person suffered injuries in the crash and was subsequently treated by the Mamer and Kehlen emergency services.

Around an hour later, another person was hurt following a collision between a bus and a car on the CR306 between Bissen and Pettingen. The Nordstad and Bissen rescue teams transported the injured individual to hospital for treatment.

In Dudelange, a pedestrian was knocked down by a car on rue du Commerce shortly before 8pm, and required medical attention.

The Troisvierges and Wincrange emergency teams were deployed at 11pm on Wednesday after a vehicle struck a tree on the RN12 between Antoniushaff and Emeschbach.
