The driver had lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
Emergency services from Mamer, Lintgen, Steinfort, Luxembourg City, and Kehlen were called to the scene to provide assistance. According to preliminary findings, a total of six people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, all of whom were intoxicated.
The vehicle involved in the accident was seized by order of the prosecutor’s office. A forensics team has also been deployed to the scene, which is why the N12 was shut for several hours.
Around 4.30am, a car accident happened on Avenue de l’Europe in Rodange, leaving two people injured. Emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette, Pétange and Sanem/Differdange were deployed to the scene.
