Five people were injured in four separate traffic accidents across Luxembourg on Wednesday evening, according to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS).

The first incident occurred at 5.17pm on the A6 motorway between Windhof and the Belgian border heading toward Arlon, where two cars collided. One person was injured and treated by emergency crews from Kahler and Steinfort-Koerich.

Around 6.24pm, two vehicles crashed on the ‘Bombatsch’ road in Marnach. One person was injured and received assistance from Clervaux emergency responders.

Just minutes later, at 6.30pm, another accident occurred on the CR101 between Gosseldange and Schoenfels. One person was injured, and emergency services from Ettelbruck, Lintgen, Lorentzweiler, and Mersch responded.

The fourth collision, on the main road in Heiderscheid, resulted in two people being injured. First responders from the Esch-sur-Sûre and Wiltz rescue centres were deployed to the scene.
