
At around 5.08pm on Tuesday, two cars crashed on the A31 near the French border. The injured motorists were treated by emergency services from Bettembourg and Dudelange.
Another person was injured in an accident between a car and a motorcycle that occurred on the CR119 between Koedange and Altlinster shortly after 7pm. According to preliminary accounts, the driver of the car swerved out of his lane and collided with the oncoming motorbike. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and was taken to hospital. The driver of the car tested positive for alcohol.
Both vehicles were seized on the order of the public prosecutor’s office, and the police were instructed to investigate the accident.
At around 7.10pm, three cars were involved in a collision on the A4 near Leudelange in the direction of Esch-sur-Alzette. One person was injured. An ambulance from Schifflange as well as the emergency services from Leudelange and Luxembourg City were on site.
Two people were injured following a collision between two cars on Boulevard Grand-Duchesse Charlotte in Luxembourg City at 9.44pm. The Luxembourg City emergency services were sent to the scene of the accident.
Another accident between two cars occurred in Rollingergrund at around 1.20am on early Wednesday morning. One person was injured.
