Grand Duke Guillaume and Grand Duchess Stéphanie were celebrated on Thursday during a "Joyeuse Sortie" organised by the municipality of Fischbach. The couple has resided at Fischbach Castle since 2020.
The traditional event comes just a few weeks before their scheduled departure for Berg Castle, the official residence of the Luxembourgish sovereign.
During the celebration, a monument in tribute to Grand Duke Guillaume was unveiled in the municipality. Local residents were also invited to a reception held within the castle grounds.
Fischbach Castle will not remain unoccupied after the couple's departure. Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa are expected to move in shortly.
