The weather forecaster had predicted light snowfall in the Grand Duchy on Friday, and as these images from a mobile reporter show, the forecast was absolutely spot on.
Snowflakes were observed in Echternach, Grevenmacher, and in parts of the capital on Friday morning.
Meteolux announced that roads could be icy due to these wintry showers, with light rain and drizzle possible until the evening. Over the course of the afternoon some areas may see further light snowfall.
