
According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), some furniture had caught fire on one of the balconies.
A large number of firefighters (CIS Bissen, CIS Colmar-Berg, CIS Nordstad, CIS Boevange-sur-Attert, CIS Lintgen) and a CGDIS ambulance were sent to the scene.
The authorities did not provide any further information on whether anyone was injured or potential property damage caused by the fire.
Meanwhile, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were sent out twice to deal with road accidents on Thursday evening.
At around 10pm, a collision involving a quad bike and a car occurred in Rue d’Athus in Pétange. The first responder (Samu), the local rescue teams, and an ambulance from Sanem-Differdange were on site.
Earlier in the day, a pedestrian was injured in Bereldange after being hit by a car at around 6.30pm.
