The first incident occurred in the rue d'Alzette in Esch, where a a residential building caught fire. Brigades from Esch, Bascharage, Kayl, and Schifflange were called to the scene. Nobody was injured.
Two minor fires erupted in Esch and Dudelange, and two cases of burning waste were reported in Bettange-sur-Mess and in Rumelange.
Somewhere around 10.30pm, an accident occurred on the A3 motorway close to the Aire de Berchem. Two cars were involved in the smash, both of which substantially damaged, fortunately nobody was injured in the process.
