A fire broke out this afternoon in Limpertsberg, prompting the closure of several streets and a large emergency response.

At approximately 13.40pm, police reported that Avenue Pasteur had been closed due to a fire. Multiple fire engines were dispatched to the scene, where thick, dark smoke was seen billowing into the street.
As a safety precaution, Rue Henri VII and Allée Scheffer were also cordoned off.
According to RTL sources, the fire is believed to have started beneath the roof of a residential apartment building. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Authorities are currently working to bring the situation under control and assess the damage. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
