The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported several incidents on Tuesday evening and overnight.
Shortly before 10pm on Tuesday evening, a fire broke out in an apartment building on Avenue Monterey in Luxembourg City. Firefighters from Luxembourg City, Hesperange, and Sandweiler were called to the scene to extinguish the blaze. Ambulance crews from the capital were also deployed. No injuries were reported.
Over the course of Tuesday evening, waste also caught fire in Bettendorf, while a garden fire was reported at Findel. Firefighters from Bettendorf and Niederanven were called out respectively. In both cases, only material damage was reported.
At around 1.30am on Wednesday morning, a bin caught fire in Clemency. Firefighters from Käerjeng extinguished the blaze.
The CGDIS also reported one person injured on the roads. At 6.05pm on Tuesday evening, a motorcyclist fell on the N12 between Büderscheid and Wiltz. Firefighters from Goesdorf and ambulance crews from Wiltz were called to the scene.
