Four people taken to hospitalFire and smoke fill Tétange apartment

On Saturday morning at 11 am, an apartment caught fire on Rue Pierre Schiltz in Tétange.

The fire reportedly broke out in a utility room on the ground floor. Police confirmed the emergency services were quick to arrive at the scene.

The flames did not spread, but the stairwell was quickly filled with masses of smoke. Five people had to be rescued by ladder, four of whom were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation.

The incident was dealt with by teams from Schifflange, Dudelange and Tétange.
