The mayor of Hayange in nearby France was sentenced Friday morning to a €1,000 fine and a driving ban at the court in Luxembourg City.

Fabien Engelmann of the Rassemblement National (previously Front National) was stopped by police between the Gluck roundabout and the tunnel Albert Bousser in Luxembourg City last January. He was written up for driving under the influence of alcohol and refusing to take an alcohol test.
