Effective from this Monday, applicants can submit requests for financial aid for electric vehicles via the MyGuichet.lu platform. The implementation of digital processes aims to simplify the application process for both private individuals and businesses, while also introducing automation to expedite processing times.
These newly introduced procedures follow the digitalisation of the climate bonus “Housing,” as well as procedures for bicycles and electric bicycles in the summer of 2023, and private charging points in October 2022.
Collectively, these online procedures represent the full digitalisation of the four primary climate bonus support schemes.
The Government Council, after its meeting on 13 December 2023, decided to extend the aid scheme aimed at promoting sustainability, rational energy use, and renewable energies in housing (Housing Climate Bonus) and mobility (Mobility Climate Bonus) until the end of June 2024.
