According to a police spokesperson, the driver lost seven bales of hay while driving down Rue Principale, but reportedly didn't notice this themselves. The incident was reported to police by a member of the public.
Once police were on the scene they closed down part of Rue Principale and one other road to allow for the bales to be removed. The roads were open again by 10pm. The incident fortunately did not cause any accidents.
