Families are invited to spend a playful and creative day at Cercle Cité on Saturday, as the City of Luxembourg’s cultural institutions host their annual ‘Family Day’, a full-day programme of workshops, games, and live music for children of all ages. Running from 11am–5pm at Cercle Cité on Place d’Armes, the event brings together employees from museums, theatres, the Cinémathèque, and the Conservatory for a packed schedule designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Activities range from art and craft workshops to interactive games and a concert featuring young musicians. Organisers say that all workshops requiring mandatory advance registration are now fully booked – however, a wide selection of activities that do not require registration will remain freely accessible throughout the day.

Among the highlights are open play zones with board and wooden games, a relaxed family reading corner, and hands-on discovery spaces exploring themes such as nature, art, and storytelling. The day will also feature a live musical performance by ensembles from the Luxembourg City Conservatory.

Admission is free; find the full programme on vdl.lu.
