To cancel the alleged transfer, the person is asked to click on a link. The message, written in French, contains some mistakes, which tend to indicate a scam. For example, it is written “consernant” instead of “concernant” and a full stop has been replaced by a comma.

On its website, the Banque générale de Luxembourg (BGL) warns against scams. One of the reasons for this is that these messages contain a link to an unreliable website, where you are then asked to provide your bank details. These sites are often carbon copies of real websites. The BGL also stresses that, generally, no serious company will ask someone to provide their card details.
Should you have reacted to the message, you can consult the BGL website.
