Non-profit accuses"EU agriculture policies neglect both our standards and goals"

The organisation "Meng Landwirtschaft" has issued a press release to address the recent EU agriculture reforms, as well as their implications for the Grand Duchy.

The statement takes note that representatives of the non-profit are deeply disappointed with the European agriculture plan. The document has the following headline: "Failed on an EU level, save what's left to be saved in Luxembourg".

Representatives criticise that many of the ecological performances that farmers have to follow lack clear definitions. The organisation thus issued an appeal to Minister of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development Romain Schneider to support Luxembourgish farmers and leave them as much room to manoeuvre as possible.
