
In Ettelbruck, the Alzette river reached pre-alert levels of 1.8 metres overnight, although the water level is expected to decline. The Däich car park was initially closed due to flooding fears but reopened at 8 am from Friday.

The Sûre river in Diekirch also passed pre-alert levels of 4.2 metres, however further increases have been ruled out.

-The CR152B junction with the N10 in Schengen, as far as the French border.
-The CR134 (Esplanade de la Moselle) in Wasserbillig.
-The CR345 between Karelshaff and Colmar-Berg.
The flood forecast centre said on Thursday that they were prepared for potential flooding and were monitoring areas surrounding the Grand Duchy's rivers. By Friday afternoon, the centre lifted an alert for flooding.
