Jean Halsdorf, director of the Esch-sur-Alzette Conservatory, has been suspended pending investigation, Radio 100,7 reported Tuesday. The public broadcaster cited a letter sent to students’ parents that it had obtained.
According to the letter, a teaching staff member filed a complaint against Halsdorf that may lead to legal or administrative proceedings. Parents were invited to share their perspectives on “life at the conservatory” by contacting the Esch municipality’s legal department.
Halsdorf has led the conservatory since 2022.
