
Police were forced to stop a driver in Useldange at 5.40 pm, then another in Niederanven at 9.45 pm. Both drivers failed their breathalyser tests and the vehicles were impounded. The inebriated motorists were cautioned and had their licences confiscated.
At a check in Bettembourg at 3 am, a man had not only exceeded the legal drinking limit, he also could not produce any valid papers for his car. He was also cautioned and had his vehicle and licence removed.
