Residents can now apply for these subsidies through MyGuichet.lu, streamlining the process for those seeking financial support for eco-friendly initiatives.

Applicants are eligible for the climate bonus when they make eco-conscious investments, such as installing heat pumps or photovoltaic systems. The demand for such subsidies has remained high, particularly in the aftermath of the recent energy crisis.

Online applications for financial assistance related to the installation of charging stations have been available since autumn 2022. Similarly, support for e-bike purchases became accessible via the online platform just last month.

In an effort to reduce waiting times for application processing, additional personnel have been hired. However, the agency is still actively recruiting more staff members to further expedite the process.

Since the introduction of financial assistance for bicycle purchases in May 2020, the subsidy has been paid out nearly 51,000 times, totalling €22 million.

Since 2013, the climate bonus has facilitated subsidies amounting to over €405 million across various domains, including renovations, housing, and mobility.
