Since 2014, emergency services were able to prevent ten people from drowning in the Upper Sûre Lake.

Eight people unfortunately drowned during the same period.

A total of three people drowned at the lakes in Remerschen, while the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) were able to save one person.

These figures were provided by the ministers for Home Affairs and of Internal Security in an answer to a parliamentary question.
