In 2018, construction began on the Elmen project, which envisaged 800 homes for 3,000 residents. The area will slowly take shape over the next decade or so to create a whole new district in the municipality of Kehlen - a village within a village.
800 homes are being built across the 27-hectare site, with 75% to be put on the market for sale. The remainder will be rented out.
