A bike-sharing bicycle from the Vël'OK network caught fire in Foetz around midday on Saturday. Vël'OK rides are electric-assisted bikes, designed to make pedalling easier.

No injuries were reported. Thanks to the swift response of the Mondercange fire brigade, the flames were quickly extinguished, preventing the fire from spreading to nearby bicycles.
