
Luxembourg police have reported multiple incidents of vehicle break-ins and residential burglaries in recent hours.
On Monday night, two individuals broke into a parked vehicle on Rue de Sanem in Ehlerange. Officers responding to the scene confirmed the theft of a power bank and a glasses case. Following a search operation, one suspect was arrested, and stolen items were recovered from their residence. Police have seized the items and filed an official report.
A separate incident occurred on Tuesday morning at around 7.30am in Bettembourg, where unknown perpetrators broke into a vehicle parked on Rue Valérie Strecker-Steffen and stole various tools. Authorities have launched an investigation.
In addition to the vehicle-related crimes, police are investigating several residential break-ins. One incident targeted a single-family home in Weiswampach, where intruders ransacked all rooms. A similar burglary was reported at a flat in Schifflange, with the property thoroughly searched by the perpetrators.
