The assailant was restrained by other passengers until police arrived to take him to the police station, where he had to spend the night.
At around 8pm on Friday, police pulled over an inebriated driver in Rue de Bastogne in Buderscheid. Officers withdrew the motorist’s licence when a breathalyser test came back positive.
A car hit a pedestrian on a pedestrian crossing in Rue du Fort Neipperg in Luxembourg City shortly before 6pm. When the police arrived, they discovered that the motorist did not have a valid driving licence. The driver was fined.
