The intoxicated motorist ended up losing his driving licence.
On Friday evening, two people stole several bottles of alcohol from petrol stations in Heiderscheid and Pommerloch. With the help of eyewitnesses and CCTV footage, the police were able to find the culprits shortly afterwards. The stolen bottles were seized, and a complaint was filed.
At around midnight, the police were called to Stadtbredimus to intervene in a case of domestic violence. A man had struck his wife and when the police arrived, he quickly became aggressive and attacked the officers. He was immobilised and brought to the police station. A short while later, he was arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office and presented to an examining magistrate.
