The first accident occurred on the CR122 between Flaxweiler and Wormeldange around 7.15pm. The driver lost control over his vehicle on a bend, crashed in a road sign, and ended up in the ditch. Police found that he had been drinking and suspended his driver's license.
The second accident took place in Oberpallen around 9pm. A woman crashed into a light pole. Alcohol was also a factor in this crash. Police suspended her license.
A third intoxicated driver hit the pavement of a roundabout on rue du Parc Mertert. The axle of the car was broken after the incident, preventing the driver from continuing his journey. He had been drinking but his blood alcohol levels did not exceed the legal limit.
