A motorist was caught speeding on the N2 towards Sandweiler. He did not hesitate to overtake a police patrol, which naturally set off after him.
After the patrol managed to pull the the driver over, the police officers decided to test him for alcohol. The test turned out to be positive, but that was not all. The officers also found that the car’s papers were not in order. It also turned out that the vehicle was not properly insured and that the driver did not have a valid driving licence.
As a result, the driver is now subject to a temporary driving ban, his vehicle has been seized, and a report has been drawn up.
