In MoutfortDrugs instead of valid license: speeding driver pulled over by police

A driver was caught going 77km/h in a 50 zone on route de Remich in Moutfort.

When police pulled over the speeding driver, officers found that he was unable to present a valid driver's license. They also found a large bag containing marijuana in the trunk of the car. The public prosecutor's office ordered the arrest of the driver. Police also seized the drugs.

Drunk drivers involved in two accidents

Another driver crashed into the barriers at the Grünewald/Neudorf exit ramp on the A2 motorway on Thursday evening. Police arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and found that the driver was severely intoxicated. The driver was slapped with a temporary driving ban.

Another accident involving a drunk driver occurred on the N32 in Differdange. The driver lost control over his vehicle at a roundabout on Rue Emile Mark. A blood alcohol test came back positive and police suspended the driver's license.
