The Grand Ducal police initiated a search for an errant driver who fled the scene of an accident on Wednesday afternoon.
At around 1.10pm, two vehicles collided in Pétange, at the crossroads between Route de Longwy and Rue des Romains.
Witnesses at the scene said a car had been speeding, causing the collision with a van. The van driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene and instead fled towards Rue Batty Weber. Police launched a search and confirmed they had located the motorist on Thursday morning.
