On Thursday evening, police intercepted a motorist travelling 105 km/h in a 50 km/h zone along Alzingen’s Route de Thionville.
Officers immediately imposed a provisional driving ban following the violation, which more than doubled the speed limit.
Earlier that afternoon, authorities stopped another driver in Echternach who was operating a vehicle without a valid licence. Police also identified documentation irregularities with the car, prompting the public prosecutor’s office to order its seizure.
