On Sunday, the police conducted a speed check on the A13 motorway between Esch-sur-Alzette and Pétange from 11.30am to 12.30pm.

According to the police report, in three instances, the speed measured exceeded the permitted limit (110 km/h) by more than 25 km/h. Consequently, the offenders were issued a €145 fine and had two points deducted from their driving licences.

Additionally, a driver was clocked at 227 km/h on this stretch of the motorway. The police immediately intercepted the vehicle and revoked the driver’s licence.

On late Sunday afternoon, the police received reports of a car driving erratically on the A13 near Soleuvre. A police patrol was despatched and pulled the driver over. In addition to testing positive for alcohol, it turned out that they were unable to provide a valid driving licence. The police issued a temporary driving ban.

Two cars collided on the CR154 in Alzingen on Sunday evening. According to preliminary information, four people were slightly injured. The officers at the scene issued a temporary driving ban after one of the drivers tested positive for alcohol.
