The driver was said to be seriously injured and had to be cut out of the vehicle by emergency services. A helicopter then transported the victim to the nearest hospital.
The RN10 between Marnach and Dasbourf-Pont was closed to traffic to allow access to the emergency services. Fire fighters from Clervaux and Hosingen attended the scene.
Three other people were injured in separate incidents on Monday.
One person was hurt following a two-car collision on Route de Wasserbillig, Mertert, late on Monday morning.
Two others were injured in a crash on Route de Longwy in Bertrange at around 11.30am. Steinfort and Luxembourg City emergency services were deployed.
