At some point in the afternoon, notifications popping up on the app made it seem as if the app had been hacked. The Chamber of Deputies has confirmed this was not the case, writing in a press release that its IT service was carrying out tests that were unwittingly made visible to all users.
The problem has since been resolved.
The push notifications sent out read: "New update: Help!!! News alert (followed by several characters)" and "Sent directly from the back-end ;): Hi everyone!".
