The Appeals Court amended the man's sentence to 120 hours of community service, after he was accused of poisoning his neighbour's ten-month-old puppy in September 2017.
During the appeal, the Moersdorf resident admitted to giving the puppy rat poison. The court maintained the fine from the original sentence, amounting to €4,000.
