The politician also used the opportunity to thank his Luxembourgish colleagues for making free tests available to all cross-border workers. He emphasised that he would try to convince the Robert Koch Institute to revise its classification of the Grand Duchy.
"If we tested as much in Germany as they do in Luxembourg, our infection numbers would be just as high."
He ended his statement by announcing a trip to Luxembourg that same evening in company of his wife.
