This weekend will mark the fifth edition of “Rendez-vous aux jardins”.
For the first time, the gardens of the castle in Colmar-Berg will open to the general public, an event that is already sold out. Other locations will host activities such as yoga sessions, concerts, and festivals. Visitors can also explore the gardens of the Peppange monastery, the Herb Garden in Eischen, and the Rose Garden at Munsbach Castle.
Parallel to this event, 60 churches and chapels that are usually not accessible will be open for visits over the weekend, including the Loretto Chapel in Clervaux.
In light of the climate change crisis the world is currently facing, the Ministry of Culture emphasises that gardens and parks become more than simple social places. They are sites of memory and meditation - a crucial resource for the renewal of the planet.
