The lucky few who were able to get close to the machine were actually standing next to a prototype of a flying car, presented as part of the European project “Airmour,” in which the Luxembourg-based company LuxMobility is also involved.
The aim of the project is to make the airspace above cities safer and more accessible for urban mobility.
According to the project’s official presentation, this drone, which can carry one or two passengers, would be “ideal for use in the medical field.” The flying car could, for example, transport personnel or emergency equipment to a specific spot in the case of an accident, even if there is traffic congestion on the ground.
