A map detailing all the campsites across the Grand Duchy has been released online by Camprilux, an initiative supported by the government as part of their "Visit Luxembourg" campaign.
On the website in question, camping.lu, users can access an interactive map of all campsites listed so far, and even make bookings at the site of their choice.
The Luxembourgish campsites are self-assessed based on a catalogue of criteria, as well as an on-site inspection. They are classed in different categories ranging from one to five stars.
The Ministry of Economy explained the objective was to provide more transparence for available sites, as well as providing reliable information to customers.
Also good to know: the Minister for Tourism, Lex Delles, will award the official classification badge to the campsite "Auf Kengert" on Saturday afternoon. The campsite will become the first of its kind in Luxembourg to receive the official classification.
